Today’s Workout: Upper Body Strength Training

Yesterday was not my typical Sunday Rest Day. We did the Susan G Komen ” Race for the Cure” 5K but last minute we did decide to walk instead of running. It was a great walk through Central Park and a wonderful way to spend a Sunday morning. Today I am back to the gym and I will be focusing on upper body strength today. If you are looking for a workout to do today please join me. Here is the workout I am doing:

5 minutes warm up (elliptical)

Barbell Curls

Shoulder Raises

Lateral Raises

Chest Press

Hammer Curls

Tricep Extensions

Each set is to be done 3 times using weights that are heavy enough that the last few reps are difficult.

Cardio 20 minutes on the elliptical or running
